Driving Smart Inspection and Disaster Prevention Technology Transformation: Showcasing Integrated AI Drone and Multi-Platform Mission Capabilities
Asia University, together with Synggi Technology, Syenlon Aerospace, and Dunyuan Technology, recently co-hosted the “Shiang Vision: Industry Solution Presentation.” The event focused on practical applications of AI-powered drones and attracted representatives from various government agencies and industry sectors.
The presentation showcased a complete mission simulation of the Skydio X10 AI drone from the United States, and fully introduced integrated applications of TAK, AI image inference, and a cross-platform mission integration system. Five industry partners—Jili Technology, Syenlon Aerospace, Dunyuan Technology, Synggi Technology, and Jumu Intelligence—demonstrated their technological capabilities, further strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.
According to Asia University’s Industry-Academia Director, Chao-Neng Wang, the integration of unmanned vehicles and artificial intelligence is an inevitable trend. Through close collaboration with these five companies across the industrial supply chain, Asia University has successfully transformed academic research into practical and scalable industrial solutions, playing a key role in advancing smart inspection and public safety technologies.
During the live demonstration, the Syenlon Aerospace team showcased the impressive capabilities of the Skydio X10 AI drone. Key features included omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, AI-based human and vehicle recognition, 3D SCAN modeling, and accessory operation demonstrations. This “smartest AI drone” has proven to operate efficiently in critical scenarios such as disaster prevention, rescue missions, inspections, and public safety.
Another highlight of the event was the cross-platform mission integration system presented by Synggi Technology. The system emphasizes TAK–drone integration, ATAK mission workflows, and data applications, aiming to support government agencies and enterprises in establishing scalable and standardized inspection processes that can adapt to a wide range of operational needs.
Synggi Technology stated that it will continue deepening its collaboration with Asia University’s Intelligent Vehicle Research Center and expand its cross-domain integration capabilities. The successful conclusion of this presentation not only laid a solid foundation for the development and application of cross-platform intelligent mission systems but also demonstrated the shared commitment of academia and industry to advancing into a new era of smart technology.
