Helping Students Earn AI Certifications and Develop Professional Skills and Self-Learning Ability
In the AI certification training class, instructors demonstrated and explained various applications.
To strengthen students’ professional skills and enhance their competitiveness in AI and cloud computing, the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Asia University launched a specialized “AI Certification Training Class.” The program guided students through hands-on operations on the Microsoft Azure platform and successfully helped 16 students earn international AI certifications, achieving Microsoft Azure AI accreditation.
During the course, instructors demonstrated practical operations and provided real-time explanations, helping students understand the applications of various Azure functions. Topics such as virtual machines, database management, AI services, and cloud resource deployment were taught through platform-based operations, while instructors explained the underlying concepts and benefits, transforming abstract technologies into concrete learning experiences.
Instructors also guided students step by step through different Azure service modules, enabling them to quickly master environment setup, platform navigation, and resource configuration, while practicing in real time.
Professor Kuo-Cheng Liu, Chair of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, emphasized that this teaching design lowers the learning barrier for beginners and cultivates problem-solving skills. The training program focuses on developing students’ self-learning abilities and includes individual practice sessions after class to reinforce learning outcomes. Through systematic training, students can adopt the same structured approach when preparing for international certification exams, improving their chances of passing and gaining a competitive edge in employment.
Professor Liu further explained that the core goal of the AI Certification Training Class is not only to help students obtain international professional credentials but also to enhance their self-directed learning, cross-platform application, and continuous professional development skills. By becoming proficient in Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google Cloud, students are better positioned to pursue careers in diverse AI fields, including AI applications, AI healthcare, and AI business solutions.
