AU Hosts “Tronclass AIR Training Workshop” with Strong Faculty Participation
Asia University (AU) is actively promoting teaching innovation and AI-powered digital transformation by hosting the “Tronclass AIR Faculty Training Workshop.” The university invited the professional team from Taiwan Zhiyuan Company to guide faculty in mastering AI applications and exploring how AI can enhance teaching.
AU Provost, Lin Jun-Wei noted that the workshop focused on the practical use of smart teaching systems and classroom applications. Key features included ChatBot-assisted exploratory learning, automated Inclass quizzes, intelligent question generation, and instant grading tools, allowing faculty to gain hands-on experience and become familiar with the system.
Prof. Lin emphasized that Tronclass AIR encourages students to ask questions proactively, think independently, and engage in exploratory learning. Meanwhile, Inclass functions enable teachers to quickly assess student performance and adjust teaching strategies in real time. Such AI-powered systems strengthen classroom interaction, improve teaching efficiency, and foster a positive cycle of teaching and learning.
Several participating faculty members highlighted that AI tools like Tronclass AIR transform teaching from a one-way knowledge transfer into an interactive and dynamic two-way learning experience with students.
